Gardiners Bay Country Club | Gardiners Bay Golf Course

Gardiner's Bay Country Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Shelter Island, New York.

Parts of the course date to 1896. The course was revised and additional holes added in 1915. Seth Raynor was the architect of the changes and expansion to 18-holes.

This mature course has many trees that can alter your shots, but no water hazards.  

Par for the course is 70. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,527 yards. From the forward tees, the course plays to a par-71 and measures 5,341 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 6, a par-5 that plays to 567 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 9, a par-3 that plays to 169 yards from the back tees. This is also the signature hole, requiring a well-placed tee shot onto a severely sloping green.

Watch out for # 14, a 472-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Gardiner's Bay Golf Course is # 17, a 173 yard par-3.
